This warranty applies to the original purchaser and automatically transfers to future property owners.

10-Year Performance Warranty
- Free from manufacturing defects.
- Meets all physical and thermal properties stated in Koolfoam Technical Data Sheets.
- Retains at least 80% of stated R-value over 10 years.
- Manufactured in accordance with AS 1366.3.
EPS Insulation Black Pearl
20-Year Performance Warranty
- Free from manufacturing defects.
- Meets all physical and thermal properties stated in Koolfoam Technical Data Sheets.
- Retains at least 80% of stated R-value over 20 years.
- Manufactured in accordance with AS 1366.3.
XPS Insulation (Koolfoam XPS Board)
10-Year Performance Warranty
- Free from defects in materials and workmanship.
- Maintains compressive strength and moisture-resistance properties.
- Suitable for below-grade, slab edge, and high-moisture environments.
Underfloor EPS Panels (Koolfoam Underfloor System)
50-Year Durability Warranty
- Free from manufacturing defects for 50 years.
- Maintains thermal performance and structural integrity when installed correctly.
- Resistant to moisture absorption and long-term degradation.
Warranty Conditions
This warranty applies when products are:
- Installed according to Koolfoam installation guides and NZBC requirements.
- Used for their intended purpose.
- Protected from solvents, UV exposure, open flame, and mechanical damage.
- Stored and handled correctly prior to installation.
This warranty does not cover:
- Incorrect installation or site handling.
- Chemical exposure or incompatible adhesives.
- Damage from natural disasters, fire, or building movement.
- Alteration or misuse of the product.
Making a Warranty Claim
To lodge a claim, please provide:
- Proof of purchase or delivery documentation.
- Installation details (installer, date, location).
- Photos or description of the issue.
- Access for inspection if required.
Koolfoam will assess the claim within 5 business days. If a product is found to be defective, Koolfoam will repair, replace, or refund the original purchase price.
